The opening ceremony of the VII Republican Spartakiad of the Republic of Kazakhstan for athletes with musculoskeletal, visual, and intellectual disabilities took place at the Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov Martial Arts Palace.

The event was attended by Ruslan Bakytuly Yesenalin, Chairman of the Committee for Sports and Physical Pin-Up Culture under the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, and Erik Serikuly Meirkhanov, Deputy Akim of Astana.
